RBP was launched on 1st April 2019 by Stuart Singer, Kate Perry, Jenny Stone and Katie Singer who have been looking after clients and specialising in the medical profession for more than 30 years.
All of the partners were formerly partners of Ramsay Brown and Partners, that ceased trading in 2019.
In 1991, Kate Perry transferred her training contract to Ramsay Brown and Partners and passed her professional examinations qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with the firm. She left Ramsay Brown and Partners to get more experience working with an accountancy firm in London before the partners approached her in 1997 and invited her to come back to the firm and become their third partner.
Meanwhile, in 1996, Jenny Stone had joined Ramsay Brown and Partners as a trainee Chartered Accountant and she too soon passed her professional examinations and was also offered and accepted a partnership with Ramsay Brown and Partners in 2003.
Katie Singer, Stuart’s daughter who had been helping him out for many years, qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arram Berlyn Gardner in January 2012. Katie moved to Ramsay Brown and Partners in April 2013 and has been working with Stuart looking after his clients since then. In recognition of her progress and ability, she became a partner in April 2016.
Emma Pottinger joined Ramsay Brown and Partners in 1997 managing various projects. She has an exceptional ability to manage and guide the practice, together with a flair for creative solutions that adds value to both our clients and the RBP team.
The ‘spacious accommodation’ in North Finchley that they were operating out of had become cramped and in May 1999, the present office in Grange Park, with almost three times the office space, was acquired. RBP continue to trade from these premises.
The current partnership of Kate, Jenny and Katie, supported by Emma, is just as goal focused and ambitious now as it ever was in their previous partnership. The present partnership is an effective and professional organisation striving for further growth and success.
The firm aims to continue to grow and develop within these challenging times, with more and more GPs deciding that they need the help and support of a specialist firm.
