Kate Perry

After attending Eastbourne College and the University of Hertfordshire where I gained a BA(Hons) in Business Studies, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 at Ramsay Brown and Partners having initially started my training with a firm in St Albans. After leaving to expand my knowledge at a West End firm, I was invited to re-join the firm as a partner in 1997.

In April 2019, Ramsay Brown and Partners split and together with my former partners, Stuart Singer, Jenny Stone and Katie Singer we launched RBP Chartered Accountants.

As well as looking after my clients, I edit our regular newsletter, write articles and lecture on courses, particularly VTS schemes and more recently the RCGP’s London Life after VTS.

I live in St Albans and am married with one daughter, Amelia, born in 2002, now hoping to become a doctor (!) and one son, Guy, born in 2004. We also have a Doberman, Dharma and two mad cats, Lola and Lily. One thinks she is a dog and comes for a regular dog walk and the other is frightened of her own shadow! We have four chicken who give us a regular supply of fresh eggs.

I have always enjoyed travelling and with a sister who used to live in Hong Kong and other parts and the world and cousins in America, I have had plenty of opportunities. I am now looking forward to taking my children to exciting destinations as they get older.

I like to keep fit and go skiing annually with the family. I also enjoy horse riding, walking, gardening and bird watching.
